Bharatiya Janata Party visualises Delhi at par with any ultra modern capital city of the world with all the basic amenities available to its citizens. It is our vision that one and a half crore citizens of Delhi enjoy all the required amenities and facilities at affordable cost. We want to make Delhi self-reliant and sovereign in all the fields: education, health, housing, transport, cleanliness, power, water, justice, roads, women empowerment, human dignity, values and security. People should say 'Oh Delhi! It is beyond comparison.'

The Bharatiya Janata Party visualizes Delhi as a pollution free, green friendly metropolis. It is our intention that there should be a comprehensive expansion in all the fields of education. Delhi should become the education capital of India. Students from all parts of the country and the world should come to Delhi for high quality and value-oriented education. After improving the prospects of their future careers these students should carry the fragrance of Delhi to other parts of this country. Delhi should become a quality centre for higher and technical education. Every one in Delhi should get an opportunity to live with dignity and honour.

Delhi is mini India; it is a representative core of the diversity that is Bharat. Citizen of Delhi who represents plurality of India with diverse languages, religious practices, castes, creeds, class should all live in peace and harmony. People who return to their native places or countries after living in Delhi should carry the tales of glorious harmony prevailing in Delhi. We want that no body should be forced to sleep with empty stomach in Delhi. We want Delhi to be hundred percent literate where every person has employment and vocation and everyone lives with self-respect and dignity.

Delhi is known for its fashion and its culinary richness. We want Delhi to make further progress in these fields. It will be our effort to empower women with equal status in all fields. We want our capital city to be crime free where every body can go everywhere without fear, where women are free from fears of attacks. Our vision is for a refined, cultured, value-oriented and dignified Delhi. We want all citizens of Delhi to be provided with all the basic amenities for leading a dignified life.

We want to develop satellite towns around Delhi well equipped with all the requirements of the city life, with good ecological environment conducive to a comfortable living. These towns should be able to act as shock absorbers for the exploding population of Delhi. They would be made self-sufficient and self-reliant in all respects. This in turn will ease the housing crisis faced by Delhi and will provide an alternative to thousands of people migrating to Delhi every year.
